More news about Star Wars Outlaws will be revealed at Summer Game Fest, which starts on 7 June, but for now, NVIDIA has shown the technologies that the game will support on PC.

Here's What We Know

Star Wars Outlaws will get DLSS 3.5 support with Ray Construction. Ray Reconstruction improves ray tracing using AI. Its advantage over conventional Ray Tracing is that there is no flickering and other artefacts that can be found. In general, the DLSS 3.5 scaling technology has many times less artefacts than previous versions (logically, because progress does not stand still).

You can see the application of the technology in more detail in the trailer:

When We Can Expect It

Star Wars Outlaws will be released on 30 August 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

Flashback

Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world game set between the fifth and sixth episodes of the films. The game is developed by the authors of The Division (Massive Entertainment), and Ubisoft will publish the project. The story is not about a Jedi, but focuses on Kay Wess, an ordinary girl who constantly wants to get into a situation and emerge victorious. Her main goal is a large-scale robbery, after which she will be able to feel what a normal life is. She will be travelling with her cute animal Nix and the BX-commando droid.

Players will be able to visit both long-familiar and new places in the Far Galaxy on their own speeder. The game will feature stealth mechanics, but if something goes wrong, you can always use a blaster and destroy all enemies. The developers also promise a system of choice that will affect the reputation of Kay.
