A Game Access event was held in the Czech city of Brno, where Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 producer Martin Klíma addressed the audience and revealed interesting details about the game's development.

Here's What We Know

The developer confirmed that the second part of the medieval RPG will be much larger than the first part. Thus, the volume of text has more than doubled: from 800 thousand words in the first part to 1.7 million in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

According to Martin Klim in the game will be 240 hours of voiced lines, while the 2018 game had only 108 hours.

The scope of the game is also indicated by the number of bugs discovered. During the production of the first part, 49 thousand bugs were detected, and in the sequel of the number already exceeds 280 thousand, of which about 204 thousand bugs have been fixed.

The increased scale of the game imposes and large technical limitations, the main reason for which is the need to adapt the game to the initially weak and already outdated console Xbox Series S. It has only 10 GB of RAM and insufficiently powerful other components, because of which the owners of other consoles will suffer, because on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X the game will work only at 30 FPS.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be available in up to 4K resolution on the powerful consoles, but on Xbox Series S only in 1440p.

One of the visitors of the event asked Martin Klim when to expect a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 trailer, to which he meaningfully replied: "soon". It is likely that at one of the next summer shows the developers will hold a demonstration of the ambitious RPG, where they may reveal the release date of the sequel. Perhaps it will happen at the opening ceremony of Summer Game Fest.
