Kingdom Hearts 4 developers will not show the game at Summer Game Fest
The upcoming Summer Game Fest promises to be a promising event, but it's important to have realistic expectations - especially if you're hoping for a Kingdom Hearts update. According to the creator, producer, and host of Summer Game Fest, Geoff Keighley, such expectations will most likely not be met.
Here's What We Know
During a recent Q&A session on Twitch, Keighley discussed the possibility that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be shown at the event on 7 June. He advised fans that expecting to see the long-awaited action RPG is "setting yourself up for failure".
Although some leaks suggest that Kingdom Hearts 4, announced for 2022, is scheduled for release in 2025, and speculation about the release is not entirely unfounded, it looks like the game will not be shown at this year's Summer Game Fest.
Nevertheless, the event promises to be exciting, as several big games have already been confirmed, including Metaphor: ReFantazio, Monster Hunter Wilds, and a new big game from 2K. In addition, leaks suggest that PlayStation will announce more games from top-notch developers.
