20th Century Studios has released a new trailer for Alien: Romulus, which has an atmosphere reminiscent of the original film
This summer promises to be hot not only because of the weather, but also thanks to the new film "Alien: Romulus", which hits the big screens on 16 August. Director Fede Alvarez, known for his work on the remake of "Evil Dead" and the film "Don't Breathe", prepares the audience a new meeting with the iconic xenomorphs.
Here's What We Know
In March, the first trailer was released which gave us a glimpse of the characters, visual style and plot of the upcoming film. The new trailer gives us more information about the plot, which unfolds between Ridley Scott's original 1979 film and James Cameron's 1986 sequel. Alvarez promises not only intense action scenes and blood-curdling horror, but also a story worthy of a revival of the legendary Alien franchise.
The story tells of a group of scavengers who prowl an abandoned space station before becoming the unfortunate prey of a xenomorph. Starring Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson and Archie Renaux in the lead roles.
