Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has received a security update

Samsung has released the May 2024 security update for the Galaxy A23 5G following the release of One UI 6.1. The first to receive the update was the phone variant with model number SM-A236V, which is sold through Verizon in the United States.

The May 2024 security patch addresses 45 issues and has version A236VSQS4CXE3.

The firmware will soon be available for other Galaxy A23 5G variants and in other regions. Users can check for the update via Settings, Software Update, Download & Install.

One UI 6.1 introduced new features to the Galaxy A23 5G and also prepared it for the upcoming update to One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.
