IO Interactive has announced Hitman III VR: Reloaded, an exclusive enhanced version of the game for Meta Quest 3 headsets
IO Interactive studio announced a new VR-version of the popular stealth action game Hitman III.
Here's What We Know
The public was presented Hitman III VR: Reloaded - improved and expanded version of the game, which will be available only to users of Meta Quest 3 headsets, and therefore due to its technical limitations the graphics will be a bit more modest than on other devices.
One of the main features of Reloaded is the ability to use two guns in both hands at the same time, and since this is a VR-game, it is necessary to aim the weapon at the enemies, literally, with your own hands.
In addition, the developers from XR Games studio will make the following changes:
- update the stylisation to sel-shading;
- increase the interactivity of the environment;
- completely update the interface;
- expand movement options;
- add a variety of small innovations.
IO Interactive has yet to elaborate on this point, but it looks like Hitman III VR: Reloaded will only feature missions from the third instalment of the series, rather than the entire Hitman World of Assassination trilogy they've been combined into.
When We Can Expect It
Hitman III VR: Reloaded will be released in the summer of 2024 only on Meta Quest 3.
The game will cost $30.
Pre-order is already open.
