No Wi-Fi 7: Samsung Galaxy Flip 6 certification has revealed details about the connectivity standards as well as the battery capacity of the smartphone
Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event in early July, new details about Samsung's foldable Galaxy Flip 6 smartphone have emerged, revealing the battery capacity as well as its connectivity standards.
Here's What We Know
According to FCC certification, the global version of the Galaxy Flip 6 (model SM-F741B) has two batteries: the EB-BF741ABY (1,097 mAh) and EB-BF742ABY (2,790 mAh). The total battery capacity is 3,887 mAh, while the advertised capacity is likely to be 4,000 mAh. It is also known that the device supports GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and NFC. Wi-Fi 7 novelty, most likely, will not support. Charging was tested using a 25W EP-TA800 charger.
The Galaxy Flip 6 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with RAM options of 8GB or 12GB and internal storage ranging from 128GB to 512GB. The device will come pre-installed with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1, and promises seven years of OS and security updates.
The smartphone is rumoured to get a 3.4-inch external OLED screen and a 6.7-inch foldable OLED screen. Both with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The improvements also apply to the camera: the Galaxy Flip 6's main rear camera will have a 50 MP resolution, which is a marked improvement over its predecessor's 12 MP camera. The selfie camera and ultra-wide-angle camera are expected to remain unchanged.
