Germany buys additional batch of Eurofighter Typhoon fighters

Following Israel, Germany has also decided to increase its fleet of fighter jets.

The information was shared by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. We are talking about 20 additional Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. Unfortunately, the cost of the aircraft and delivery dates are not yet available.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a fourth-generation multi-role fighter developed by a consortium of European companies including Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo. The aircraft is highly manoeuvrable, thanks to its unique aerodynamic design and advanced flight control systems. The Typhoon is equipped with advanced weapon systems, including air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, as well as powerful avionics. The aircraft is capable of a wide range of missions, from aerial combat to strikes against ground targets and reconnaissance. The Eurofighter Typhoon is in service with several European countries as well as Saudi Arabia.
