Samsung is leading the development of new budget smartphones Galaxy A16 and A06

Samsung is working on new smartphones that will be a follow-up to the popular budget devices Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A05. We are talking about the Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06 models, respectively. The information about it appeared thanks to leaks from GalaxyClub.

Here's What We Know

Samsung is currently testing the 5G variant of the Galaxy A16 with the model number SM-A166B. It is likely that 5G networks are becoming increasingly popular, so Samsung has decided to release only the 5G version of this model. As for the Galaxy A06, it is likely to be available only in 4G variant (model number SM-A065M) as it is a budget variant.

The specifications of these smartphones are still unknown, as well as their official announcement date. The Galaxy A05 was officially announced in September last year, while the Galaxy A15 was launched in December and Samsung is expected to follow a similar schedule with the new models.
