A purported schematic of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro smartphone shows some design changes
OnePlus is preparing to release the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro smartphone and today we have the first look at its design. A schematic of an engineering prototype published by a Digital Chat Station whistleblower reveals that the device will have a similar design to the OnePlus Ace 3.
Here's What We Know
A well-known Digital Chat Station insider on his Weibo account today published a schematic of the engineering prototype of the upcoming smartphone. While he didn't mention the name of the device, it is clear that he may have revealed the design of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. The smartphone will feature a curved screen on the front, while the rear panel will get a round camera module similar to the Ace 3 model. The difference from previous OnePlus flagships is that the camera module doesn't seem to merge with the side bezel of the device. According to rumours, the Ace 3 Pro will have a metal frame and a ceramic, leather or glass back panel depending on the body colour. The device will also get IP64 dust and water protection.
In terms of specs, the rumoured OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Inside, the device will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device could also get a 6,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
The rear camera will allegedly consist of three modules: 50-megapixel (primary, with OIS), 8-megapixel (ultra-wide-angle) and 2-megapixel (macro). On the front, the smartphone will get a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device is expected to run Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.1.
