Toyota HMV, Mitsubishi Type 73 Kogata and PC-065B: Japan handed over a military aid package to the AFU

Japan has transferred 101 vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The information was shared by the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine. The cars arrived in Poland on 5 June and then went to the territory of Ukraine. Judging by the photos, the aid package included Toyota HMV SUVs, Mitsubishi Type 73 Kogata, as well as tracked engineering vehicles PC-065B.

TheToyota HMV (High Mobility Vehicle) is a multi-purpose Japanese military off-road vehicle designed to provide high cross-country capability and reliability on difficult terrain. The vehicle is used to transport troops, equipment and perform various tasks.

TheMitsubishi Type 73 Kogata is a Japanese multipurpose military off-road vehicle developed by Mitsubishi Motors. It is used by the Japan Self-Defence Forces to transport troops, equipment and perform various tasks. The Type 73 Kogata is characterised by high off-road capability, reliability and ruggedness.

The PC-065B is a Japanese multifunctional engineering vehicle designed for construction and repair work in the field. The PC-065B is used by the Japanese Self-Defence Forces to build fortifications, clear roads and perform other tasks. The vehicle is equipped with modern tools and equipment.
