Samsung confirms Galaxy AI in upcoming foldable smartphones Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6
Earlier this year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24 line of smartphones, in which the Galaxy AI artificial intelligence played a key role. This tool significantly improves the user experience by providing a host of AI features. Galaxy AI was initially available only for the Galaxy S24 lineup, but now Samsung has extended it to other devices as well.
Here's What We Know
It has already been officially confirmed that Galaxy AI will be included in the next generation of foldable smartphones. In a blog post on Samsung's official website, head of mobile R&D Won-Joon Choi has talked a lot about the prospects of Galaxy AI including foldable devices. He stressed that Galaxy AI will be better optimised for the upcoming Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 foldable smartphones.
According to Won-Joon Choi, Samsung is taking a "hybrid approach" to AI, balancing functions performed on the device and in the cloud. This ensures better processing speeds and keeps users' data private.
The new Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 are expected to be announced in early July at the Galaxy Unpacked event and more information on Galaxy AI capabilities for these devices will be coming soon.
