The software update with May 2024 security patch for the Galaxy A52s 5G has firmware version A528BXXS8GXE1. The May security patch closes 45 system vulnerabilities.

The update will be available for models from Asia, Europe, South America and the UK. The new software will be rolled out in stages and may arrive a little later in some regions.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G with Android 11 and it was promised that the smartphone will get three new versions of the OS. As of now, the phone has already received all its updates and will no longer get One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.
