Remedy and Epic Games will release physical collector's and deluxe editions of the console versions of Alan Wake 2: pre-order now open
Many gamers were disappointed to learn that Alan Wake 2 will be released only in digital format. Remedy Entertainment studio went to meet the fans and announced that the game will still be released on discs, and in two editions, but only for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Here's What We Know
Remedy and Epic Games have announced the pre-order launch for the Collector's Edition and Deluxe Edition of Alan Wake 2.
The Deluxe will be released on October 22 at a price of $80 and will include a disc of Alan Wake 2, bonus skins from the Digital Extended Edition, an Expansion Pass with access to the two story expansions Night Springs and The Lake House, a double-sided cover with exclusive artwork, and a code to download Alan Wake: Remastered.
In November, Epic Games, in partnership with Limited Run Games, will release a limited collector's edition of Alan Wake 2. It will be priced at $200 and will include:
- all the contents of the deluxe edition;
- a 160-page artbook;
- a key and fob to Oceanview Hotel room 665;
- a set of Coffee World theme park badges;
- a functioning replica of the angel lamp from Alan Wake 2.
The pre-order will close on 22 July at 6:00 (CEST).
