Here's What We Know
Kyiv Independent reporter Asami Terajima told Business Insider that she spoke to a medic named Oleksiy, who treats soldiers at a stabilisation point near the front line near Chasiv Yar before they are transported to hospitals. According to her, most of Oleksiy's patients have been injured by FPV drones over the past six months.
Russian troops advanced west of the ruins of Bakhmut and Avdiivka, seizing a dozen small villages and approaching Chasovyi Yar and a key highway in the region.
Terajima noted that FPV drones are a major feature of the fighting in the Donetsk region, particularly in the Bakhmut area.
She also said that in other parts of the eastern front, Ukrainian soldiers were attacked by guided aerial bombs.
"Soldiers in the Avdiivka area have complained a lot about guided bombs, which are now being used very intensively," she told Business Insider.
