Obsidian accidentally reveals Avowed release date: role-playing game is due out on November 12 on PC and Xbox Series
We wrote that at the Xbox Games Showcase, Obsidian Entertainment presented a story trailer for the role-playing game Avowed. However, the release date was not revealed at the presentation. It became known later by accident.
Here's What We Know
After the presentation, Obsidian published brief information about the game on its website. However, first, the "wrong" version was published, stating that the game would be released on 12 November 2024. Later, this information was removed, but the Internet remembers everything.
Xbox said that the game would be released in 2024 on PC, Xbox Series, and Game Pass, so what better time to do it than in the penultimate month of the year?
As a reminder, Avowed is set in the universe of another Obsidian game, Pillars of Eternity, and its main feature will be an advanced combat system that will allow players to freely combine any kind of weapon and magic.
