Microids publishing house and Tower Five studio revealed the release date of the unusual strategy game Empire of the Ants, based on Bernard Werber's novel "Ants".

The colourful and realistic video not only shows shots of unusual gameplay, but also informs that the player will become 103,683 ants, who must help their colony to conquer a new habitat, protect the Queen and the young generation, provide the anthill with resources and building materials. You will have to make alliances with other insects, wage war against the enemy colony, enlist the help of bugs and snails.

It is noteworthy that the game will allow you to look at the huge world through the eyes of one of the smallest creatures on the planet.

The video shows excellent graphics with a claim to photorealism and high detail of the surrounding world - it only confirms that people suffering from insectophobia, arachnophobia and other insect-phobias will find it extremely difficult to enjoy this game.

Empire of the Ants will be one of the first games on Unreal Engine 5.4.
