Gamers are thrilled with the debut trailer of DOOM: The Dark Ages - the video received a huge number of likes and positive comments

Yesterday was a massive Xbox Games Showcase presentation, where Bethesda unveiled a mega new game: the next instalment of DOOM with the subtitle The Dark Ages.

Showing this game was probably the brightest announcement of the show and this is confirmed by both enthusiastic comments of gamers and figures.

Here's What We Know

On the official YouTube-channel of Bethesda the debut trailer of DOOM: The Dark Ages got 2.700 million views in less than a day - it is the highest figure among all trailers from Xbox Games Showcase 2024.

Gamers put 236 thousand likes and only 2.4 thousand dislikes.

The audience does not hide the delight from the updated art style, gothic architecture, brutal gameplay, musical accompaniment (although without the iconic tunes of Mick Gordon) and cool petrol shield.

Almost everyone is sure that the experienced developers from id Software will not only release a great shooter, but possibly take the series to a new level.

Let's remind that DOOM: The Dark Ages will be a prequel of the previous two parts.

The shooter is expected to be released in 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
