Apple unveils macOS Sequoia with iPhone remote control and new Passwords app
Apple has unveiled the new macOS Sequoia, which offers remote iPhone control and the new Passwords app. Unveiled at WWDC 2024, macOS Sequoia brings innovative artificial intelligence that works across all Apple platforms, including Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
Here's What We Know
macOS Sequoia includes Apple Intelligence, which allows users to write, summarise and proofread text across the system, as well as create sketches and animations through Image Playground.
Siri has also received significant improvements with Apple Intelligence, making it a more natural conversation partner.
One of the key new features is the ability to remotely control iPhone from a Mac, allowing users to view and control their iPhone through the Mac screen without leaving their apps or session.
In addition, Apple introduced a new Apple Passwords app that works on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, and even Windows via iCloud for Windows. This app allows you to securely store and manage passwords.
The new macOS Sequoia also includes an improved window management system, new features in Safari, such as website highlights and videos in their own window, and new features in Notes and Calendar.
Apple plans to release macOS Sequoia this year, and the beta is currently available to developers.
