Ubisoft did not disappoint: the first gameplay reveal of Assassin's Creed Shadows impressed with the quality of graphics and new features
Ubisoft Forward hosted the first detailed gameplay presentation of Assassin's Creed Shadows, the long-awaited game set in feudal Japan.
Here's What We Know
Assassin's Creed fans have long dreamed of a game about Japan and it looks like the years-long wait was not in vain. What Ubisoft showed is impressive!
The audience was shown gameplay for a samurai of African descent Yasuke and a shinobi girl Naoe.
Both characters are trying to hunt down and destroy members of the Order of the Ancients, but Yasuke does it in the open and prefers to meet his enemies face to face, while Naoe keeps in the shadows, moves on rooftops and destroys the enemy stealthily.
Both heroes have unique abilities and an individual set of weapons, which makes the gameplay varied and exciting.
It is impossible not to mention the significantly increased quality of graphics - the developers' refusal to use last generation consoles allowed to make the game much more detailed, rich and realistic.
Of course, in Assassin's Creed Shadows you can pet dogs too, and it's very nice. The developers are following the Japanese authenticity here too and added Akita inu to the game.
When We Can Expect It
Assassinʼs Creed Shadows will be released on 15th November on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. And, as just revealed, the game will even be available on iOS devices.
