It has a number very similar to the OnePlus Watch 2 model number, which hints that the new device could be a more expensive or cheaper version of the Watch 2.

In addition, the same model number was spotted in the TUV Rheinland database, which revealed that the new device will have a 500mAh battery, the same as the Watch 2. This confirms the speculation that the new model is similar to the Watch 2.

While some sources have speculated that it could be the OnePlus Watch 3, releasing a new flagship watch so soon after the Watch 2 release seems unlikely. It's more likely that the new model is a Watch 2 variant rather than a new generation of the device.

One theory is that OnePlus could be preparing a more budget-friendly version of the OnePlus Watch 2, which will focus on basic smartwatch features like activity tracking and notifications. It is also possible that it could be a special edition or a Watch 2 variant with a themed colour designed to appeal to different market segments.

Judging by the certification of the new watch it is expected that it should be announced soon. Though it is still unclear if this new model will be available outside India.
