According to the informant, Apple's foldable smartphone may get an outward-folding display like the Huawei Mate Xs 2. The panel will have an OLED-matrix and a diagonal of 7.9 inches. Such a model may be released in 2026 along with the iPhone 18.

By the way, apart from the foldable smartphone, Apple is now also working on a 20.3-inch MacBook with a flexible screen. The laptop is rumoured to be released in 2026 or 2027.
