Resident Evil Village sales reach 10 million copies: the game has become one of the most popular parts of the franchise
Almost all of Capcom's latest games get top marks and sell huge amounts of copies.
Resident Evil Village is no exception.

Capcom reported that in three years (the game was released on 7 May 2021) sales of Resident Evil Village reached 10 million copies, and the eighth part of the cult franchise became the fastest-selling game in the series, among those that have reached this milestone.
The Japanese developer emphasised that Resident Evil Village is still hugely popular, with annual sales of around 2 million copies.
The horror game is currently available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2 and iOS.
Capcom is determined to fulfil the expectations of all users by utilising its technological capabilities to create exciting games. One of them will be Resident Evil 9: the Japanese company has yet to unveil the new horror game, but there are so many rumours about it that no one doubts its development.
