A new Conscript trailer has revealed the release date of the noteworthy retro-style indie horror game

Publisher Team17 and studio Catchweight, which consists of lone developer Jordan Mochi, have revealed the release date for indie horror game Conscript.

Here's What We Know

Conscript is a survival horror game, which is reminiscent of the first projects of this genre in the early 90's: pixel graphics, fixed camera, non-obvious ways to achieve goals, difficult puzzles, complex fights with enemies and gloomy atmosphere.

The plot unfolds in the trenches of the First World War, where the main character is a French soldier who is looking for his brother in the trenches during the famous Battle of Verdun in 1916.

When We Can Expect It

Conscript will release on 23 July on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch

A demo of Conscript is currently available as part of Steam Next Fest.
