The Ukrainian Defence Ministry plans to buy a large batch of German Lynx infantry fighting vehicles for the AFU.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the manufacturing company Rheinmetall. We are talking about several hundred BMPs. The contract will also include maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as a service for training of crews. Unfortunately, there is no information when the contract will be signed.

By the way, Lynx BMPs for the AFU are likely to be produced in Ukraine. Recently it became known that Rheinmetall will build a factory in Ukraine and this year will produce the first infantry fighting vehicle.
