The colourful action-platformer Tales of Kenzera: ZAU was released in April 2024 to great reviews, but seems to have gone unnoticed amidst more high-profile releases.

Developers from Surgent Studios, which was founded by famous actor Abubakar Salimom (the voice of Bayek from Assassin's Creed Origins), are trying to grab the public's attention in a great way.

Here's What We Know

A free demo of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU has been released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch, which will explore the beginning of the story of the young shaman Zau (ZAU).

Tales of Kenzera is a dynamic 2.5D platformer in which a guy will try to save his tribe.

The hero has two masks: Moon and Sun, and by putting them on, the player gets different magical abilities that help him in battles with enemies and overcoming obstacles.

The gameplay of Tales of Kenzera: Zau is based on the timely change of masks, and since the game is very dynamic, the player needs to switch between them competently and adapt to the rapidly changing situation.
