Samsung introduces innovative smartphone control trainers

Samsung strikes again with its innovation, this time in the field of athletic footwear. In collaboration with Elitac Wearables, Brut Amsterdam, Cheil Benelux and trainer designer Roel van Hoff, Samsung has unveiled trainers that allow you to control your smartphone with your movements.

Here's What We Know

The new "Shortcut Sneaker" trainers are dubbed "the trainers of the future" by their creators. However, getting them is not so easy: there are only six pairs and they will be raffled off in a competition among Samsung Members in the Netherlands, who can enter via the app until 9 July 2024.

These trainers feature motion sensors in the soles, allowing up to five different actions such as making calls or playing audio. It is not yet known if the trainers will be available to the general public after this limited batch.

Such innovations open up new possibilities for users who prefer to free their hands from traditional ways of controlling smartphones, making everyday use of technology even more convenient and intuitive.
