Samsung Galaxy A72 receives first security update after One UI 6.1

A new security update has been released for Samsung Galaxy A72 users in select markets. This is the first security patch for the phone after receiving One UI 6.1.

Here's What We Know

The latest update for the Galaxy A72 contains a security fix dated May 2024. It has started rolling out in Ukraine and Kazakhstan with build number A725FXXS8FXE3.

The update is focused on security improvements only, and no other changes should be expected.

This patch fixes a total of 58 security vulnerabilities on Samsung smartphones, 33 of which affect all Android devices and 25 of which affect only Samsung devices.

How To Switch It On

In order to download the update to your Galaxy A72, go to Settings, Software Update, Download & Install.
