A new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, showing off various battle modes and local multiplayer
Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, which shows off the various modes available at launch and confirms split-screen multiplayer battles, albeit with a caveat:
Here's What We Know
Episode Battle mode recreates iconic battles from Dragon Ball Z and Super with eight playable characters. Goku has the most stages, from his battle with Raditz to the Tournament of Power. Some cutscenes can be viewed in first-person for added immersion, and players can make choices that lead to different outcomes.
The Custom Battle mode offers "original battles" with unique victory conditions and event scenarios. Players can customise battles with pre- and post-battle scenarios, upload them, and even edit existing content, as well as bonus battles for additional customisation.
The local multiplayer mode allows you to play in split-screen mode, but it is limited to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage, which can cause a little inconvenience when choosing a character, as it was originally designed for single player.
Where To Play
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC upon release.
When We Can Expect It
The game will be released on 11 October.
