Capcom has released remasters of two instalments of Monster Hunter Stories: both games are now available on modern platforms
While gamers are waiting for the release of a new Monster Hunter game with the subtitle Wilds, which, as the developers promise, will bring the franchise to a new level, Capcom has made them another interesting offer.
Here's What We Know
The Japanese company has released a remaster of the first instalment of Monster Hunter Stories on PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch - previously, the game, which was released in 2016, was only available on the Nintendo 3DS handheld console.
Precisely because of the choice of platform, Monster Hunter Stories did not receive widespread attention, but now it has not only been released on actual devices, but also offers improved graphics, full dialogue voice acting, streamlined gameplay and other innovations.
Note that thanks to backwards compatibility, Monster Hunter Stories is also available on PlayStation 5.
In addition to Monster Hunter Stories, a similar remaster of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was released on PlayStation. As a reminder, this game was released in 2021 on PC and Nintendo Switch. The updated sequel can be purchased in a bundle with the first part.
