Unveiled vivo V40: vivo S19 clone with 80W charging support, but no charger included
The vivo company has unveiled the vivo V40 smartphone on the global market. This is not a new model, but practically a clone of the vivo S19, which debuted in China at the end of May, but with some changes.
Here's What We Know
The vivo V40 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. There are several versions to choose from - with 8/256GB and 12/512GB of storage.
On the front, there is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz and 1.5K resolution (2800×1260 pixels). At the back sits a dual Zeiss main camera with sensors of 50 MP each. The front camera is 50MP too.
There's also an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging support. But the most interesting thing is that the corresponding charger is not included in the package - you have to buy it separately. It seems that Chinese manufacturers followed in the footsteps of Apple and Samsung and began to remove the charger from the package, and in low-cost smartphones. At the same time in China vivo S19 comes with a charger.
vivo V40 is available in two colours (Stella Silver and Nebula Purple) and costs from 599 euros. Sales in Europe will start next month.
