Google Pixel 9 has passed the performance test in Geekbench
Information about the performance testing of the new Google Pixel 9 smartphone has appeared on the Internet. The device was spotted in the Geekbench benchmark database, where it demonstrated its capabilities.
Here's What We Know
According to the leak, the Pixel 9 is powered by the latest Tensor G4 chip, which is the successor to the previous generation Tensor G3. During testing, the smartphone showed results (below in the screenshot) that were lower than its rivals on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and also slightly behind its predecessor Pixel 8.
Note that test results may vary depending on the test conditions or due to improper optimisation. Thus, the data presented may not fully correspond to the final performance of the Pixel 9.
In addition, the leak revealed the configuration of the cores of the new Tensor G4 chip. The main core is clocked at 3.1GHz, with an additional three cores clocked at 2.6GHz and four cores clocked at 1.95GHz. It is also confirmed to have 8GB of RAM and use the Mali-G715 GPU, which was already used in the previous Pixel 8 model.
For now, information about the Pixel 9 series remains limited, but more information about the new products is expected as the announcement date of the devices approaches.
