The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has surfaced in new renders where you can see some similarities with the Apple Watch Ultra

Ahead of the announcement of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatch, information about some of the device's specs has already surfaced, as well as the first alleged images of the watch. Thanks to insider Ice Universe, we have the opportunity to see additional renders of the new Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Here's What We Know

Judging by the images, the Galaxy Watch Ultra will be announced with a modern design, different from previous models. Samsung was able to successfully combine the square outline with the traditional round style of the Galaxy Watch series. The new renders show the watch in silver and black colours. What sets the Watch Ultra apart from previous Galaxy Watch models is the third button on the side, coloured orange like on the Apple Watch Ultra.

In terms of screen size, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is comparable to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. While the screen hasn't increased, the watch body itself will be noticeably thicker - 16.4mm on the Watch Ultra versus 10.9mm on the Watch 6 Classic. This is probably due to the increased battery capacity. In addition, the new watch will get a case made of titanium.
