The last week in Destiny 2 has been relatively great, thanks to the release of The Final Shape expansion pack, which adds a new campaign and raids. However, apart from the already released Dual Destiny mission, what else can we expect in the game? In addition to Episode 1: Echoes, the Excision mission will get a new difficulty - Grandmaster - on 18 June.

Here's What We Know

The latest "This Week in Destiny " post described the mission as "very difficult" but "definitely worth it", but if you're just looking to earn XP, level up your crafted weapons, or just farm kills for the Catalyst progression, you probably shouldn't start the mission. Due to the large number of players (12 people), Bungie has disabled some options to "provide a more stable gaming experience".

Excision is the last mission of the campaign that unlocks after the World's First race for Salvation's Edge - as we wrote above, it supports up to 12 players, and unites the Guardians with their allies to destroy The Witness once and for all.
