OnePlus and CATL are preparing to release a next-generation battery, OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will be the first to receive it

OnePlus has announced a partnership with leading battery manufacturer CATL.

According to a joint press release, the manufacturers have teamed up to unveil a next-generation battery called OnePlus Glacier Battery. The new technology is set to be shown at an event on 20 June. The battery promises "revolutionary autonomy" and higher density.

OnePlus is not yet saying which smartphone will be the first to receive the Glacier Battery, but in all likelihood, it will be the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. According to rumours, the device will have a 6100 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The release of the novelty will take place in the near future.
