Todd Howard wants to "get it right" ©: Bethesda head has made it clear that the company will not rush the release of the new instalment of Fallout
Bethesda CEO Todd Howard gave an interesting interview to MrMattyPlays channel. We have already analysed his theses about Starfield popularity and plans for space RPG development, and today we want to pay attention to his statements about Fallout games.
Here's What We Know
Todd Howard confirmed that the Fallout series from Amazon has increased public interest in all parts of the series, thanks to which, for example, Fallout 76 is at the peak of demand. This is confirmed by the fact that the game's audience has reached 20 million people and continues to grow.
The developer stated that since the series perfectly closes the gap in the franchise, Bethesda Game Studios will not rush the development of the next instalment, which, as Howard hints, will be a single-player game. It seems that analysts' assumptions that Fallout 5 (the name is conditional) will be released not earlier than 2030 corresponds to reality: "We want to do everything right" - said the head of the studio.
Repeatedly in the network appeared mentioning that Bethesda is preparing remasters of old parts of Fallout. Todd Howard noted that although there were indeed discussions, at the moment the studio has no plans to engage in such projects and will focus on the production of new games - not only Fallout.
