Everyone has already forgotten about Palworld, now there is a new phenomenon on Steam - clicker Banana.

Banana can hardly even be called a game, as it has no plot, characters or gameplay. The only thing you need to do is to click on a static banana.

Here's What We Know

We've written about Banana's immense popularitybefore, but it looks like the situation is taking on a no-nonsense dimension.

Banana has pushed Baldur's Gate 3 out of the top 10 games with the highest peak online numbers and surpassed Hogwarts Legacy. At the moment there are almost 885 thousand people in the game and today this figure can reach one million, which will allow Banana to overtake Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring.

What is the secret of Banana's success? - The answer is banal: the ability to earn money without having to work.

Every three hours a Banana player gets a random skin, which can be placed on the Steam marketplace and sold. Most skins cost next to nothing, but rare lucky players can get skins worth up to $1000 or more.

Plus, the game is free to play and the developer gets a % of the skin sales.

The concept of Banana is, to put it mildly, not very transparent, difficult to fit into the concept of "video games" and resembles a scam, but Valve has not yet reacted in any way.
