Huawei Mate 70 Pro front panel design leaked online
Ahead of the expected launch of the Huawei Mate 70 series in the third quarter of this year, new details about the flagship Mate 70 Pro have surfaced online. According to a recent leak from insider Setsuna Digital published on the Weibo platform, the new product will retain the characteristic design of its predecessor Mate 60 Pro, including three holes.
Here's What We Know
According to the image shared by Setsuna Digital, the Huawei Mate 70 Pro will retain the three frontal round holes that were in the Mate 60 Pro, with a similar location and diameter. This suggests that the front panel design will remain largely unchanged, with potential optimisation of the screen bezel to increase the screen-to-body ratio.
Huawei, while remaining the only manufacturer with this design, has included a feature to hide the sensors, making the space between them black, reminiscent of Dynamic Island from the iPhone.
On the front, the Mate 60 Pro sports a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle selfie camera, 3D ToF sensor and additional sensors for 3D facial imaging. The Mate 70 Pro is expected to retain a similar set of sensors.
As for the rear, the Mate 70 series is rumoured to get a round camera module with new design elements for increased recognition and a more business-like look. The smartphones in the series are expected to be available with both flat and curved screens, where the base model will get the former and the latter is likely to be used in the Mate 70 Pro and more expensive models.
