Polish studio Forever Entertainment is working on Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
During the last Nintendo Direct, there were many unexpected announcements, including The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom featuring Zelda and the first gameplay footage of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, but it all started with the announcement of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, which will be released on Nintendo Switch early next year.

The HD remaster of Retro Studios' classic 2011 side-scrolling game will offer updated graphics, new controls, and additional levels from Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. It is important to note that the port is being developed by the Polish company Forever Entertainment, as stated in the official report on Bankier. It is known that the project is released on behalf of Nintendo, which acts as a publisher.
Forever Entertainment is known for its remakes of classic games such as The House of the Dead: Remake, Front Mission: 1st Remake" and "Front Mission 2: Remake".

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD will be released on 16 January.
