Leak: Case photo confirms new design and wider display for Samsung Galaxy Fold 6
Recently, there were rumours that Samsung was planning to significantly increase the size of the display on the Galaxy Fold 6 cover. However, new images of the phone case suggest that these changes are likely to be minor.
Here's What We Know
American case maker Thinborne recently posted a photo on X (Twitter) of a case that is expected to be designed for the upcoming foldable smartphone. The photo with the hashtag #fold6 gives an idea that the size of the display on the cover will remain close to the previous generation.
The image shows that the display on the Galaxy Fold 6 cover will be slightly wider due to a slightly different aspect ratio. However, the total screen area is likely to remain almost the same as in the Fold 5.
The 7.6-inch internal display will also have the same aspect ratio as its predecessor, but will be slightly shorter and wider.
In addition to a slight increase in display width, the Fold 6 may also have a more pronounced design with sharper corners. There is also information that the smartphone will be about 15 grams lighter and will have a titanium frame.
