vivo Y58 5G: 120Hz LCD display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, 6000mAh battery and IP64 protection for $233

The company vivo announced a new budget smartphone Y-series.

The novelty was named vivo Y58 5G. The gadget received a 6.72-inch display with LCD-matrix, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is an 8 MP front camera hole at the top of the screen. The main one has got a 50 MP + 2 MP sensor.

The vivo Y58 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The inbuilt storage can be expanded with a microSD card if desired. vivo has packed a 6,000mAh battery in the Y58 5G. According to the company, the battery will retain 80% of its capacity after 1600 charging cycles. That is, with 1 charge per day, the battery will last for 4 years of usage.

The vivo Y58 5G comes with stereo speakers and IP64 protection. Out of the box, the device has Android 14 operating system and Funtouch OS 14 shell.

The vivo Y58 5G is already available for purchase in India for $233. The smartphone is available in Himalayan Blue and Sundarbans Green colours.
