Bandai Namco has announced its own Summer Showcase panel at Anime Expo, which will take place on 5 July
Although Bandai Namco's presence at Summer Game Fest and Xbox Games Showcase was minimal, the studio has announced a new panel at Anime Expo 2024: it will take place on 5 July and promises to be "heavy" on announcements, reveals and first looks at anime games.
Here's What We Know
The presentation, which will last a little over an hour, will be held in a panel format and will involve the best anime game developers from Japan. It will feature updates and news about such franchises as Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Sword Art Online.
Participants will also have the opportunity to play Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream and Gundam Breaker 4 at the publisher's stands. Dragon Ball fans can look forward to new gameplay footage from Sparking! ZERO, which launches on 11 October.
There is speculation as to whether Ace Combat 8, which is rumoured to be Bandai Namco's next major project developed in conjunction with ORCA and ILCA on Unreal Engine 5, will be revealed. However, since it is not from the anime game maker, an announcement is unlikely.
