The economy in Cities Skylines 2 won't be the same: next week, the developers of the urban strategy game will release a major update
Publisher Paradox Interactive and studio Colossal Order have revealed the release date of the next major Economy 2.0 update for the failed urban strategy game Cities Skylines 2.
Here's What We Know
Earlier the developers were going to release Economy 2.0 patch on the 19th of June, but due to the fact that they had to make important changes at the last moment, its certification was delayed a bit. Now the update is scheduled for release on the 24th of June.
Colossal Order will almost completely rework the economy of Cities Skylines 2, making it more comprehensive, balanced and realistic. The mechanics indirectly related to the economic model of the game will also undergo changes.
On the day of Economy 2.0 release the studio promises to tell more about the main innovations of the patch.
Previously, the developers of Cities Skylines 2 said that they are already working on the next major update, which is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2024. It will improve the interface, add new free service buildings, vehicles and other content.
