Xiaomi CEO hints at camera improvements in the upcoming Xiaomi 14T range
According to the latest information, Xiaomi is preparing to release a line of its premium smartphones Xiaomi 14T. The smartphones have already been spotted in the IMEI database and it has become known that the new products will appear on sale and in the global market. Another leak, this time from Xiaomi CEO himself, Lei Jun, hints at another improvement in photography.
Here's What We Know
Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, shared images on social media X taken with the previous 13T Pro model and asked fans what they expect from the cameras in the new T-series. This hints that the Xiaomi 14T could set new standards in shooting quality.
Xiaomi's 12T series has already surprised users with a 200-megapixel HP1 sensor, while the 13T has been upgraded with 50-megapixel Sony IMX sensors with Leica support. Now, the 14T is expected to raise the bar of mobile picture quality even higher. There are no official details about the camera specs yet, but it is speculated that the Xiaomi 14T Pro will get a telephoto lens, while its Chinese counterpart Redmi K70 Ultra will get a macro camera instead of a telephoto lens.
From other specs, we know that the base Xiaomi 14T may inherit the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chip from the previous model, while the Pro version of the smartphone is expected to get the flagship Dimensity 9300 chip. There are also reports of possible wireless charging support in the older model.
