HMD Global is preparing to launch a budget 8.7-inch Tab Lite tablet
HMD Global is preparing to release a new budget tablet called Tab Lite. The device promises to be even more affordable than the recently announced 10-inch 4G-enabled T21 tablet.
Here's What We Know
According to the leak, the HMD Tab Lite will have a classic and simple design. The device will get two cameras - one on the back and one on the front, as well as rather large top and bottom display bezels. The brightest colour variant will be pink. Black and blue colour variants will also be available.
According to the source, the tablet features an 8.7-inch HD+ IPS display with a brightness of 560 nits and a resolution of 800 by 1340 pixels. The processor used is a Unisoc T610, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory. The rear camera has a 5 MP resolution, while the front camera, with 8 MP resolution, f/2.0 aperture and autofocus, looks preferable, given that it is the one that is used more often on the tablet.
The tablet packs a 5500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The HMD Tab Lite is expected to be available in a 4G-enabled version priced at around €149. It is not known if a cheaper Wi-Fi only version will be released.
