Southern Europe and a girl from Croatia: alleged details of Battlefield's new story campaign have been revealed

Almost nothing is known about the new Battlefield part, except that the head of Electronic Arts called it "an amazing game-service".

According to insiders, in addition to the usual online modes, Battlefield 7 (the name is conditional) will feature a rich story campaign, which the developers haven't even mentioned yet.

One of the Reddit users under the nickname KekanKok provided information that possibly reveals the location of the story campaign of the new Battlefield part.

Here's What We Know

According to KekanKok, Electronic Arts is casting for the role of one of the central heroines of Battlefield 7 (probably, it will be the main character of the shooter).

According to the requirements, the actress must fulfil the role of Rozonda - a secret service agent aged 25-35, Slavic in appearance and speaking with Croatian, Bosnian or Serbian accent.

Rozonda has always been an outcast, being the child of two different ethnic groups in Croatia. She is a tactician with extraordinary mental and physical qualities. She can be impatient and despises weakness.

The heroine will have excellent physical fitness and tough character, is skilful with weapons, and the events of the new game are likely to unfold in Southern Europe.

We can assume that it is about one of the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, but this contradicts the information of Tom Henderson, who reported that players will be waiting for a fictional conflict, which takes place in 2025-2030.

When We Can Expect It

Battlefield 7 is expected to be released in autumn 2025.
