Samsung air conditioner sales in South Korea hit record highs this summer
This summer, Samsung is celebrating a significant breakthrough in the air conditioning market in its home country of South Korea. Sales of their most popular models, in particular the WindFree line, have increased significantly.
Here's What We Know
According to the company, from 17 to 21 April 2024, the average number of air conditioners sold was 10,000 units per day. The growth in sales of Samsung air conditioners has been so significant that it has shocked the entire air conditioning industry.
A special contribution to this success was made by the WindFree series of air conditioners, which became a real sensation. During the five days of sales, 80% of all air conditioners belonged to this series.
The company also says that sales of the WindFree series increased by 25% in May and June compared to the same period last year
What makes WindFree special
They feature thousands of holes on the front of the indoor unit to allow for more efficient air distribution. This makes them more efficient and energy-efficient than other models on the market. In addition, Wi-Fi support allows you to control the air conditioner from any device, and the 4-way pendulum ensures even air distribution in the room.
According to the company, this success is the result of a combination of high quality and innovation that has already become known for Samsung products.
