Amazon has shown the first trailer of the Batman: Caped Crusader, which is created in a retro style: premiere on 1 August
We wrote that Amazon showed the poster of the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader. Now the studio has finally shown the debut trailer.
Here's What We Know
Caped Crusader is created in the style of the 40s. The authors love the films of this era, so they decided to be inspired by them in terms of clothing, cars, architecture, and technology. They also drew inspiration from the Batman comics of that era (in which characters such as Catwoman first appeared).
The trailer shows that the police still don't accept Batman and are trying to catch him, but the Dark Knight fights crime and strives to help Gotham.
The series was produced by Matt Reeves, J.J. Abrams and Bruce Timm. Reeves worked on Batman (2022), Abrams is known for his Star Wars films, and Timm was involved in the cult animated series Batman: The Animated Series.
We would like to remind you that Batman will be voiced by Midnight Mass star Hamish Linklater.
When We Can Expect It
The premiere of Batman: Caped Crusader will be released on 1 August on Amazon Prime Video.
