Google Vids is available for testing in Workspace Labs

In April, Google Vids was introduced as an AI-powered video creation tool, and now users registered with Workspace Labs can test it.

Here's What We Know

Vids is a Google Workspace app that integrates with Docs, Sheets, and Presentations to create videos for team recaps, promotional videos, and training materials. Users can enter prompts for topic, audience, and video length, add documents from Google Drive, and edit storyboards using style templates and stock footage, including images and background music.

Consumers get an editor interface with the ability to record their own voice or use a generated voice, and can edit the order of the frames. Videos created with Google Vids can be viewed at docs.google.com/videos.
