After an absence of five years, spy RPG Alpha Protocol is back on sale on Steam
We reported that in March, the GOG shop brought back the PC version of Obsidian Studios' spy RPG Alpha Protocol, which was removed in 2019 due to a conflict over licensing rights.
Now the game has appeared on yet another platform.
Here's What We Know
Alpha Protocol is back on sale on Steam!
It's not yet clear which version is being offered to customers on Steam, perhaps like GOG, it's an improved version that fixes a number of bugs, improves compatibility with modern computers, adds achievements that were previously only available on consoles and a few additional localisations, as well as introducing support for DualSense, DualShock, Xbox and Nintendo Switch Pro gamepads.
Until 11 July, as part of the Steam Summer Sale, Alpha Protocol is 20% off.
Recall, Alpha Protocol was released in 2010 and, despite the huge number of flaws, gained popularity among gamers. The game tells about a special agent Michael Thorton, who must perform a number of dangerous tasks around the world to prevent a global international catastrophe.
